The Mele Family Fund
The Mele Foundation was established in the late 1950's. In 2009, the Mele family donated all assets of the Mele Foundation to The Community Foundation of Herkimer & Oneida Counties, forming the donor-advised Mele Family Fund. The Mele Family Fund focuses on supporting the health and education fields. As a donor-advised fund, Mele associates serve as advisers to the fund, but the Community Foundation owns all assets of the fund as a separate entity.
